Un crocodile de quatre mètres caché dans un sac est à l’origine de l’accident d’avion du 25 août dernier au Congo qui avait coûté la vie à 19 passagers, au co-pilote belge et au pilote britannique, indique vendredi sur le site internet www.thespoof.com.

Le bien nommé Arthur Skydiver (‘Plongeur du ciel’) le seul survivant du crash, a raconté qu’il avait vu un homme monter à bord avec un grand sac de voyage, qu’il avait cru voir bouger. « Une fois que l’avion a décollé, le sac est tombé de l’espace de rangement et s’est ouvert. Quand les autres passagers l’ont aperçu, c’est devenu le chaos », a-t-il expliqué. « Tout le monde s’est rué vers l’avant de l’avion et le pilote n’a pas réussi à garder le contrôle de son appareil. »

Selon les enquêteurs, l’avion a été déséquilibré par le soudain déplacement de la masse quand les passagers ont couru tous ensemble vers l’avant. Ils insistent que le modèle de l’avion, un 1916 Sopwith Camel, n’est pas prévu pour transporter des passagers mais reste le plus populaire auprès des compagnies à bas prix.
